The film is made up of the new environmentally-friendly material, PVA/PVOH (polyvinyl alcohol), which is a water-soluble, pollution-free, and non-toxic polymer material. PVA/PVOH is soluble in water and can be fully bio-degraded into water (H2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2) in nature, thus it is a truly environmentally friendly product.

 

The water-soluble material produced with PVA/PVOH as raw material has a wide range of applications and is suitable for membrane/films/bags in various areas, such as: anti-infection medical fabric bags, anti-infection laundry bags, anti-infection and anti-bacterial laundry storage bags in the field of medicine and health; water-soluble laundry gel membrane/films, preservative wraps for vegetables and fruits, collection bags for pet waste, packing bags for fishing baits in the filed of daily consumer goods; anti-laser embroidery burn-through water-soluble membrane/film/cloth, blank curved surface special-shaped water transfer printing film, artificial marble/artificial limb/silicone mold releasing film, packing bags for pesticides raw materials, detergents, disinfectants, oils, dyes, mineral additives, cement additives, and seed tapes in the field of industrial functional applications.

The PVA film can be used as an excellent release material for unsaturated polyester, epoxy resin, or other thermosetting resin parts. It has the following characteristics:

  1. Good releasing performance, it barely produces any blanks, which saves polishing time.
  2. With high flexibility and smoothness, the PVOH membrane/film can fit the mold better, and the demolding quality is higher.
  3. Good heat resistance: the membrane/film can be heated up to 190 degrees.
  4. Good mechanical performance: high tensile strength and high breaking elongation rate.
